Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-01-28
Clockdo provides timestamping, proof-hosting, verification, and WordPress plugin services. This policy explains what information we process when you use the Clockdo APIs, dashboards, verification pages, and related plugin features.
What We Process
- Site and account identifiers such as domain, site ID, and basic configuration values needed to operate the service.
- Publication metadata such as post URL, publish or update timestamps, manifest hashes, proof IDs, and proof status.
- Proof artifacts such as
manifest.json and .ots files when a feature or plan stores them.
- Operational logs such as IP address, user-agent, timestamps, trace IDs, and rate-limit signals used for security and abuse prevention.
- Content payloads only when you explicitly enable modes that send them, such as export modes that include title or body text.
What We Use Data For
- Generate and verify timestamp proofs.
- Operate dashboards, downloads, and verification pages.
- Prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and debug service issues.
- Provide support, billing, and legally required record-keeping.
What We Do Not Claim
Clockdo does not determine ownership, authorship, or infringement. Timestamp proofs show that a specific fingerprint existed by a certain time. They are not legal advice or a certification of rights.
Your Controls
- You can disable public meta tags and verification links in the plugin.
- You can keep export files local to your own WordPress server.
- You can request deletion or access inquiries by contacting privacy@clockdo.com.
